The Center for Studies and Research in Legal and Financial Engineering (CERIF) organizes training sessions for elected officials, including parliamentarians, mayors, municipal and departmental councilors, government officials, members of civil society, and members of the press.

The theme of the first session, which will be held on January 15-16, 2026, at the CERIF headquarters located at Sacré Cœur 3 in the Mohamed Mahfouz Mbacké Building, is Budget Analysis and Monitoring Techniques.

The Center for Studies and Research in Legal and Financial Engineering (CERIF) is delighted to announce the successful defense of a unique doctoral thesis in public law on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at the Faculty of Legal and Political Sciences of UCAD by one of its members, Mr. Pape Waly Diome. This defense, entitled “Amending Finance Laws in the Public Finance Law of Francophone Black African States: The Examples of Benin, Gabon, and Senegal,” was awarded a Very Honorable Mention and the Congratulations of the jury.

The Master 2 in Public Finance Law is a high-level higher education program developed as part of a partnership between the National School of Administration (ENA), Cheikh Anta DIOP University in Dakar (UCAD), and the Center for Legal Engineering Studies and Research (CERIF) with the aim of familiarizing students with the concepts of financial management and public administration.
